Humans of Buddhism
What does a Buddhist look like?
In a majority Christian Society, it’s easy to visualize only the stereotypical Buddhist: a shaven head monk in robes. By sharing stories and photos of Buddhists around the country, we can break this stereotype and illustrate the beauty in our diversity.
What is Humans of Buddhism & How do I contribute?
First off, we want to emphasize that Humans of Buddhism is open to everyone.
HoB consists of various series, which are themed with prompts. Each prompt will include one or two questions and a photo submission of yourself. Our current calls can be found at the top of our current series. These prompts will be updated each month on this page, and can often be found on our social media channels and home page as well.
How to Contribute : All submissions follow both the guidelines within the prompt itself and the ones on our Submission Page.
Requesting Interviews: If someone you know would be a great addition to Humans of Buddhism, tell us! Use our Contact Form to tell us a little about the person and how to contact them, and we can also reach out to them personally to see if they would be interest
Humans of Buddhism is a permanent, ongoing installation on the Young Buddhist Editorial.
